Listen to Music Without Downloading

Listen to Music Without Downloading
Love music? So do I, obviously. But the way I like to listen to music best is when I can just press play and listen to whatever I want at anytime, without delay.  I don't want to have to wait for a file to download, or install some kind of software that may be full of viruses. No, I just want to listen to music, why does that have to be so hard!?  It doesn't, there are tons of sites and services available in 2010 that allow you to listen to music, for free, without downloading anything. Brilliant!

To me, this ability is one of the greatest advances in technology.  It used to be that you had to drive to your nearest record store and buy a physical product to listen to a song, or maybe wait around for the radio to play it.  Not great, and certainly not immediate.  The ability to stream music at will is so freeing, and completely rids you of the necessity of storing stacks of records or CDs.

What are my favorite services that stream music for free?  Well, probably Grooveshark, Last.FM, and Pandora.  They are the 10,000 pound gorillas of the streaming music world.  They have the biggest music catalogs, and the best user interfaces to access them.
